The National Competition is available to enter at the end of the four weeks of the Challenge and is divided into two different age groups: 11 - 14 year olds and 15 - 19 year olds.
To enter, each team will need to submit two things.
Part 1
Submit a completed 10X Challenge Workbook with at least the following pages well-detailed:
Part 2
Students record a 60-second Reflective Video which summarises the business and explains why they think they deserve to win their chosen award category.
If students are nominating a team member for the Most Inspiring Individual award, this is their opportunity to tell us whom they are nominating and why they deserve to win the award!
Once students have done this, you will be able to review and submit the top entries via the ´Submissions´ page.
The deadline for the National Competition is Sunday 6th April 2025 at midnight.
All competitions open on Monday 3rd March 2025.
This award will recognise an outstanding group or an individual student company performance using the combination of the following elements:
Product:
How did the team/individual choose the product/service?
To what extent did they assess customer needs?
Were there any technical or manufacturing challenges they had to overcome?
How did they maintain quality standards?
Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
Did the team demonstrate entrepreneurship and innovation?
How well did the team unlock the potential of their original idea?
How was added value created?
Marketing:
Did the team/individual carry out market research and respond appropriately to the information they gathered?
What marketing, sales and promotional channels did they use and how effective were they in maximising sales?
Selling and Customer Focus:
How well did the team/individual understand their target customers?
Where and how did the team/individual sell their product or service?
Were their customers’ needs identified and met?
Was their communication with customers effective?
Planning and Problem Solving:
Did the team/individual have a clear business plan?
Did the team/individual show strong problem-solving skills, independence and resilience?
